If you are in business for yourself, or in sales, or possibly a manager whose sucess is dependent on generating revenue, it's important to think outside the "box" and be flexible.  I wanted to share with everyone that the first half of January, 2010 has been one of our most successful ever!  About 75% of this revenue was generated from non-lending appraisal work.  Typically, 85-90% of our business has come from providing appraisals for lending purposes.

Moral - Don't feel like you're doomed when your industry is "down."  Think outside the box.
